I’m Elizabeth Henry, and I believe accountancy should be friendly, straightforward and easy to understand. With over 14 years’ experience, I’m here to make managing your accounts and tax feel less daunting.

I completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification in 2018 and am now an Associate Financial Accountant and IFA Tax Adviser (AFA MIPA, ATA).

Throughout my career, I’ve worked both within businesses and in accountancy practice, supporting clients across a wide range of industries. My experience includes hospitality and sport, manufacturing, retail and renewable energy, alongside businesses from many other sectors.

I’ve also worked as an R&D Tax Consultant at ForrestBrown in Bristol, giving me additional specialist tax experience. Alongside my work in practice, I’ve taught accountancy and business technology to students preparing for professional ICAEW and ACCA examinations.

More than just year-end accounts

My experience covers the wider finance function, from day-to-day accounting through to management accounts, accounts production, budgeting and forecasting, with much of my tax experience focused on limited companies.

I've also helped businesses improve their financial processes, implement new procedures and make better use of accounting technology.

I'm experienced with Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage, so I can help clients make their accounting processes simpler and more efficient as well as taking care of their compliance requirements.

Why I started my own business

After many years working across different businesses and accountancy roles, I wanted to create a practice that offered the combination I believe clients really value: professional expertise with a genuinely personal service.

When you work with me, you'll deal directly with me. My aim is to make accountancy and tax straightforward, take away the unnecessary stress and give you confidence that everything is being taken care of.

Running a streamlined business also allows me to keep my overheads lower and offer competitive, transparent fees without compromising on professional service.

A little about me

I’m based in Midsomer Norton, Somerset, and support individuals and businesses both locally and across the UK.

Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my young son and love spending time together on little adventures and getting outdoors whenever we can. I also enjoy cycling and catching up with friends and family.

Having my own business gives me the opportunity to combine the professional work I enjoy with a more personal and flexible approach to life — something I know is important to many of the individuals and business owners I work with too.
